Ms. Barnes is a recognized nonprofit and education professional. The title of her website reflects her passion for helping others learn and grow personally and professionally by using contemporary educational and training methods.

She is a published author.  She launched her
book, I'm Still Your Grandma I'm Still Your
Grandpa in October 2016.

She has developed and taught programs in 
nonprofits, community based settings, private and 
public schools and faith-based settings. 
As Executive Director of Kids' Turn (San Francisco), 
she was the lead author of The Kids' Turn Way 
curriculum and the author of The Kids' Turn Way
